Amgen Capability Center Portugal in Lisbon seeks an AI Security Engineer to design and implement security controls for AI/ML platforms, models, and pipelines. This role is hands-on across the AI lifecycle, collaborating with AI engineers, data scientists, and cloud security teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in cybersecurity and cloud security, with strong scripting skills and knowledge of AWS, Bedrock, and AI risk management. The position is hybrid, with travel up to 10%.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity, security engineering, cloud security, or related discipline.
• Strong programming or scripting skills to build tooling, automation, integrations, and PoC implementations.
• Solid understanding of application security fundamentals: auth, API security, secrets, crypto, input validation, supply chain security.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native technologies; threat modeling and security testing.
• Experience with AI/ML systems security and lifecycle: training, inference, APIs, data pipelines, MLOps/LLMOps.
• Knowledge of risks in LLMs and generative AI, prompt injection, data leakage, insecure tool integrations.
• Experience designing and automating agentic AI workflows using n8n, Bedrock Agents, or similar.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement AI security controls for AI/ML applications, platforms, models, APIs, and agents.
• Deploy security tooling and automation using AWS to integrate AI security testing into engineering workflows.
• Integrate security into MLOps/LLMOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines for automated validation.
• Threat-model AI systems and translate risks into practical mitigations and controls.
• Secure generative AI, agents, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and model APIs.
• Collaborate with AI, platform, and security teams; support security reviews and remediation.
• Deploy monitoring and detection for AI security, misuse, and anomalous behavior.
• Develop AI security standards and practical guidance across teams.
