O foco está em monitorizar plataformas, investigar incidentes complexos e assegurar a disponibilidade de serviços VoIP, com atuação híbrida em Lisboa.

Qualificações

• Mínimo de 3+ anos a operar ou suportar serviços VoIP.
• Conhecimento de SIP signalling, voice routing e interconexões VoIP.
• Experiência com Session Border Controllers (SBC).
• Experiência com Oracle/Huawei SBC environments é desejável.
• Ambiente de plataformas de voz de nível empresarial/operador.

Responsabilidades

• Operar e suportar plataformas VoIP e serviços de voz.
• Monitorizar desempenho, disponibilidade e estabilidade do serviço.
• Investigar incidentes envolvendo SIP, SBCs, routing e interconexões.
• Suportar SBCs Oracle/Huawei, e plataformas BroadSoft/Cisco.
• Analisar alarmes, logs e traces para identificar a raiz de problemas.
• Colaborar com equipas técnicas em investigações e resolução de incidentes.
• Participar de manutenções, upgrades e implementação de novos serviços.
• Apoiar redes IP, balanceamento de carga e DNS relacionados com voz.
• Manter documentação técnica e operacional.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced VoIP Operations Engineer to support and evolve business-critical voice services within a telecommunications environment.

You will monitor platform performance, investigate complex incidents, and help maintain the availability and stability of VoIP services. The position provides hands-on exposure to enterprise voice platforms, Session Border Controllers, SIP signalling, routing, load balancing, and service interconnections.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys technical troubleshooting, service operations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure service continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support VoIP platforms and voice services;
• Monitor service performance, availability, and stability;
• Troubleshoot incidents involving SIP signalling, SBCs, voice routing, and service interconnections;
• Support Oracle SBC, Huawei SBC, BroadSoft/Cisco, Huawei NGN, and Ericsson MPS platforms;
• Analyse alarms, logs, and traces to identify the root cause of service issues;
• Collaborate with technical teams during incident investigation and resolution;
• Participate in maintenance, upgrades, and new-service implementation activities;
• Support IP networking, load-balancing, and DNS services related to voice infrastructure;
• Maintain technical and operational documentation;
• Contribute to service optimisation and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• At least three years of experience operating or supporting VoIP services and platforms;
• Good knowledge of SIP signalling, voice routing, and VoIP interconnections;
• Practical experience with Session Border Controllers;
• Experience with Oracle SBC or Huawei SBC environments;
• Familiarity with carrier-grade or enterprise voice platforms;
• Understanding of IP networking and Linux environments;
• Experience analysing logs, alarms, and network or SIP traces;
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills;
• Previous experience in a telecommunications service-provider environment;
• English proficiency at B2 level;
• Availability to work two days per week in Lisbon.

Experience with some of the following platforms will be particularly valuable:

• Oracle SBC;
• Huawei SBC;
• BroadSoft or Cisco voice platforms;
• Huawei NGN;
• Ericsson MPS;
• Cisco or Huawei networking;
• Linux;
• A10 Load Balancers;
• DNS services supporting voice infrastructure.

Candidates are not expected to be equally specialised in every platform. Strong experience with VoIP operations, SIP, and SBC technologies is the priority.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Spanish proficiency at B1 level;
• Experience with both Oracle and Huawei SBC platforms;
• Knowledge of BroadSoft/Cisco voice environments;
• Experience with Huawei NGN or Ericsson MPS;
• Familiarity with A10 Load Balancers;
• Participation in voice-platform migrations, upgrades, or implementations;
• Experience supporting high-availability telecommunications services.
