Job summary

Bosch Home Comfort Portugal in Aveiro is seeking an Engineer to specify, develop, and execute virtual and system-level tests for residential heat pump systems. You will build and apply MATLAB/Simulink models and virtual testing environments to simulate physical behaviors, aligning validation strategies with safety and customer requirements.

The role demands experience in system testing, DAQ, and test planning, with knowledge of thermodynamics and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

Simulation and virtual testing using MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools.
Validation test planning including test specs, DAQ, and data evaluation.
Knowledge of thermodynamics, refrigeration, fluids or heat transfer; HVAC/heat pumps exposure.
FMEA, 8D, and DRBFM applied to product development and improvement.

Responsibilities

Specify, develop, and execute virtual and system-level tests for residential heat pump systems.
Develop MATLAB/Simulink models and virtual testing environments to simulate physical behaviors.
Translate product, customer, and safety requirements into robust validation strategies and test cases.
Design and run system validation plans, correlating virtual results with real-world test bench data.
Coordinate product market introduction activities, supporting certification and technical documentation.
Support production ramp-up and align test methods with assembly constraints.
Apply quality methodologies to drive continuous improvement in the product portfolio.
