Bosch Aveiro is seeking a Mechanical Development Engineer to join a growing cross-functional team focused on residential heat pumps. You will contribute to innovative products with high efficiency, from specification to testing, supporting market introductions and certifications.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in a related field, hands-on HVAC experience, and strong English communication. The role involves design validation, supplier interactions, and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in component sizing, selection, and hands-on laboratory validation.
• Background in HVAC product development.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Specify, calculate, simulate, and physically test heat pump components and systems.
• Lead technical discussions with global suppliers and coordinate product-market introduction activities.
• Support ramp-up of production lines and secure product certifications.
• Apply FMEA, 8D and DRBFM to optimize the product portfolio and ensure quality.
