Job summary

Bosch Aveiro is seeking a Development & Test Engineer to join our cross-functional product development team in Aveiro. You will ensure performance of residential heat pumps, driving product development through virtual testing, system-level validation, and data correlation.

You will specify, develop, and execute tests, build MATLAB/Simulink models, analyze requirements, and design validation plans while collaborating with manufacturing and certification teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in system testing and physical data correlation.
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink and virtual testing environments.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, refrigeration, and heat transfer.
• FMEA, 8D, and DRBFM experience in product development.

Responsibilities

• Specify and execute virtual and system-level tests for residential heat pumps.
• Develop and apply MATLAB/Simulink models for virtual testing.
• Translate requirements into validation strategies and test cases.
• Design validation plans and correlate virtual results with physical data.
• Coordinate certification, verification, and documentation.
• Support production ramp-up with manufacturing teams.
• Apply quality methodologies to drive product improvements.
