Job summary

Forvia Faurecia is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support advanced, senior or global program managers. You will help schedule programs, gather essential documentation, and ensure processes are followed across the program lifecycle.

You will also assist in reviews, maintain documentation continuity, and participate in customer meetings to manage deliveries, quality, and production delays while upholding high standards of communication and relationship management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering/economics/management is required.
• Strong planning, problem solving and data analysis abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; executive presentation ability.
• Experience with automotive program management processes (8D, etc.).

Responsibilities

Overall responsibilities and duties:

As a core team member, the Deputy Program Manager assists the Advanced or Senior or Global Program Manager in their activities, from Program award until handover to productions site. Overall responsibility for the program stays with the Program Manager assigned (either Advanced, Senior or Global).

The main missions of the role are:

• Establish the Program scheduling and its follow up
• Collect the Program documentation (Business Plan, Risks & Opportunities analysis, Program Dashboard, PLR (Program Launch Report), Launch Tracking Performance Report, and KPI indicators) for the Program Manager and conducts review meeting on these topics when necessary
• Ensure the regular update of this documentation
• Manage specific internal topics upon request from the Program Manager (such as Prototype development and delivery)
• Ensure processes defined in the Faurecia Program Management System (PMS) are applied at all steps
• Organize documentation to ensure Program continuity and to contribute to knowledge management
• Ensure the compliance of Programs with Customer Quality systems, HSE, Safety and Regulation standards
• Assistant in the program review meetings (daily or weekly)
• Support the ECM routines & documentation
• Actively participate in customer meetings
• Support communication with customers regarding deliveries, quality performance, engineering changes, and production delays
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional customer relationship

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Minimum education level: Master's degree in engineering/economics/management.
  • Skills and competencies
    • Group Dynamics and Relationship Management: Awareness of team dynamics and effective relationship management, especially in larger teams.
    • Communication and Organizational Skills: High level of oral and written communication skills, along with being organized, efficient, and able to prioritize tasks. Able to prepare executive presentation.
    • Planning and Problem Solving: Ability to set clear, measurable goals and solve problems effectively.
      Strong knowledge of program management process of the automotive industry.
      8D methodology and preferable more detailed tools (5W2H, Ishikawa, ...).
    • Time Management and Quality Assurance: Emphasis on managing time efficiently without compromising on quality.
    • Negotiation and Diplomacy: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle issues with diplomacy and tact.
    • Attention to Detail and Data Analysis: Keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse data accurately.
    • Tools: Program Management tools and MS Office (Excel and Power Point).
    • English: Fluent in Englishand able to understand and speak good business English.
