BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems in Portugal seeks a Vendor Planner to manage supplier communications via EDI, maintain materials in line with targets, and configure SAP for materials and suppliers. You will monitor inventory, coordinate logistics with the Transportation team, and help ensure production lines are fully supplied.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar function, ERP experience, strong Excel and English/Portuguese fluency, and willingness to travel.

Qualificações

• Technical course (level 5) or degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar role (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP MM/PP or similar.
• Solid understanding of logistics, inventory, and production planning.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and lead time management.
• Experience in KPI monitoring and vendor performance evaluation.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Manage proactive supplier communication via EDI to track materials and shipments.
• Ensure suppliers use EDI/Web EDI; minimize email transmissions.
• Monitor demand vs. material coverage and maintain target inventory levels.
• Configure SAP settings per material and supplier (MOQ, transit time, etc.).
• Coordinate material pickup with Transportation and update SharePoint.
• Verify timely purchase orders and quantities with Warehouse, avoid downtime.
• Identify supply risks and apply ERP tools for improvements.
• Conduct regular stock checks in line-side supermarkets for ERP accuracy.
• Evaluate supplier delivery performance monthly via on-time reporting.
• Collaborate with Purchasing on new projects not yet in SOP and monitor KPIs.
