Preh Portugal in Trofa is seeking a Materials Planner & Buyer to ensure a smooth flow of materials and components for our automotive technologies. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet delivery deadlines, optimize stock levels and support cost-efficient purchasing.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in procurement or material planning, solid SAP MM/PP experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and fluency in English.

Qualificações

• Academic background in Engineering, Management, Logistics, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, material planning, or supply chain.
• Solid knowledge of purchasing processes and supply chain principles.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MM/PP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and convert requisitions into purchase orders in SAP.
• Manage scheduling agreements and standard purchase orders.
• Create and send kanban call orders to suppliers.
• Receive and process purchase order confirmations in SAP.
• Monitor deliveries through deadlines and shortage reports.
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding order changes to support production.
• Address supplier non-compliance on delivery dates, quantities, or quality.
• Maintain and update purchasing process documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in procurement.
