Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an experienced MRP Controller Coordinator in the Viana do Castelo area, Portugal. The role focuses on coordinating the relationship between customer orders, production inventory and planning to ensure balanced fulfillment with a team of MRP Controllers.

You will lead a team, manage inventory, and drive on-time deliveries while aligning with SAP systems and automotive customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related area and 3+ years in logistics.
• Experience in team management and SAP knowledge.
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Portuguese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the team of MRP Controllers.
• Act as MRP Controller when escalation is needed.
• Set goals with the team and ensure achievement.
• Manage inventory, forecast, and fulfillment targets across production lines.
• Ensure logistics requirements are met (EDI, forms, scorecards).
• Promote open communication within the department and with other areas.
