Job summary

WTW Portugal is seeking a Treasury Specialist to manage end-to-end payment flows, settlement, and controls within the Treasury System. You will process payments, confirm transactions, and resolve bank discrepancies to ensure accurate daily cash movements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder communication, and fluency with Excel. You will collaborate with teams to onboard beneficiaries and support treasury projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate treasury environments with knowledge of treasury products.
• Accounting or treasury qualification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with high accuracy.
• Effective communication with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing working requirements.
• Accommodating and responsive to ad-hoc requests.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage payment flows from the previous day, notifying exceptions.
• Settle deals and process daily treasury activity in the Treasury System.
• Process all payments via SWIFT or bank portals before cut-off times.
• Confirm treasury transactions in Misys Finastra and report discrepancies.
• Follow up with banks on trade settlements and respond to queries.
• Liaise with internal teams to onboard beneficiaries and automate postings.
