Job summary

Datahouse AG in Lisbon is seeking a Test Automation Engineer with a focus on Playwright and API testing to accelerate quality across products. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests, collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure robust software in a fast-paced environment.

The role expects 2+ years in Playwright/JS/TS, API testing expertise, and a proactive, communicative mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and test automation frameworks.
• Experience using AI-assisted test case or test data generation is a plus.
• ISTQB Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute API tests to validate backend services and integrations.
• Contribute to improving our automation framework and testing strategy.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, and help the team quickly identify root causes.

Your Responsibilities
