Job summary

Datahouse AG is seeking a Test Automation Engineer in Lisbon to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated tests using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) and API testing. You will work with a cross-functional team in an agile environment, ensuring fast feedback and robust software delivery.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA to enhance the automation framework, analyze failures, and drive solutions while maintaining a proactive, quality-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and test automation frameworks.
• Experience using AI-assisted test case or test data generation is a plus.
• ISTQB Certification is a plus.
• Proactive mindset: ask questions, challenge assumptions and collaborate.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication in Portuguese and English.
