Job summary

Datahouse is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to drive reliable, high-quality software through scalable automated testing. You will build and enhance our automated testing capabilities, ensuring fast feedback and supporting robust product delivery in a dynamic environment.

You will join a cross-functional, agile team that values ownership, continuous improvement, and learning while building modern automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on API testing and test automation framework experience.
• AI-assisted test case or data generation experience is a plus.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Proactive mindset, questions, and collaboration are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent Portuguese and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute API tests to validate backend services and integrations.
• Contribute to improving our automation framework and testing strategy.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, and identify root causes.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure quality at every stage.
• Participate in discussions, raise blockers, and help drive solutions.

The team works in an agile environment, encourages open communication, and supports experimentation and learning while building and maintaining modern automation solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and execute API tests to validate backend services and integrations
• Contribute to improving our automation framework and testing strategy
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, and help the team quickly identify root causes
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure quality at every stage
• Actively participate in discussions, raise questions when blocked, and help drive solutions
