Inetum Portugal in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Test Analyst to design, prepare, execute and validate business tests, ensuring quality standards and project objectives are met. You will create, maintain and communicate testing deliverables within assigned scope.

Responsibilities include designing test scenarios, maintaining test cases, prioritizing test activities, executing tests and contributing to project reports.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of software testing experience.
• Ability to create and manage test plans and schedules.
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and following up on risks.
• Knowledge of SQL and API testing is advantageous.

Job Description

The role is focused on designing, preparing, executing, and validating business tests within projects, ensuring quality standards and project objectives are met.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and prepare test scenarios according to project requirements and established standards.
• Maintain and document test cases and test subjects in dedicated testing tools.
• Create, validate, and communicate all testing deliverables within the assigned scope.
• Prioritize test activities and ensure proper test coverage.
• Execute tests, record results, and provide input for Go/No-Go decisions.
• Monitor progress and communicate risks, delays, or quality concerns to the Test Lead and management.
• Identify, log, prioritize, and support the resolution of defects and anomalies.
• Participate in retesting and validation after issue correction.
• Contribute to project reports, testing documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Follow BNP Paribas Cardif standards, testing procedures, and service culture principles.
• Participate in workshops and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education & Background

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Understanding of project methodologies.
• Knowledge of software testing principles (ISTQB).
• Experience in banking or insurance projects is a plus.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software testing.
• Ability to create and manage test plans and schedules.
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and following up on risks.
• Ability to organize work and manage priorities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• 5+ years of testing experience.
• Experience with Octane.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with API testing.li>
• Knowledge of SAS.
• Experience with Control-M or other scheduling tools.
• Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to follow established processes and methodologies.
