Job summary

Revolut, the global fintech, seeks a Regulatory Counsel (Telecom) in Portugal to navigate the intersection of fintech and telecommunications on a global scale. This mid-to-senior, in-house role partners with product, compliance and marketing teams to shape regulatory strategy for mobile and fixed services.

You will design scalable legal processes, lead regulatory engagement, and manage high-stakes matters with tight deadlines while maintaining robust risk controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PQE in telecom regulatory law or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in consumer rights and telecom products (mobile and fixed services).
• Solid understanding of telecom regulations and international service offerings.
• Experience engaging with regulatory bodies.
• Academic excellence and prior experience with leading law firms.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable legal processes for telecom products.
• Lead legal strategy for telecom product development, growth initiatives and marketing campaigns.
• Handle complex, high-stakes regulatory matters with short turnaround times.
• Identify, assess, manage and report on operational and telecom compliance risks.
