Capgemini Engineering in Lisbon is seeking an experienced professional to join its Telecom Operations team. You will support the operation and maintenance of core telecom platforms, monitor performance, and troubleshoot incidents to ensure service quality.

The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of SIP/Diameter/SIGTRAN, and experience in network engineering. English and Spanish proficiency are expected; a 24x7 shift may be required.

Qualificações

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in telecommunications operations, support, engineering, or service assurance environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of telecom networks, protocols, and services.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and operationally critical environment.
• English (B2 or above).
• Spanish (B1 or above).

Responsabilidades

• Support the operation and maintenance of telecommunications platforms and services.
• Monitor network and service performance to ensure availability, stability, and quality.
• Perform troubleshooting and incident resolution activities.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem management initiatives.
• Support planned maintenance activities, software upgrades, and network changes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and operational teams to resolve issues and improve service performance.
• Contribute to the implementation and validation of new services, functionalities, and technologies.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and technical reports.
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in critical incident handling and service recovery activities when required.
