Babcock Wanson Portugal is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with a strong project management component to drive business development and coordinate projects nationwide.

You will manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing, lead on-site teams with subcontractors, and ensure delivery from design through final handover. The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering, eligible registration with the Portuguese Order of Engineers, and a proactive, results‑driven mindset.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Eligibility for registration with the Portuguese Order of Engineers.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical-sales roles and/or industrial project management.
• Knowledge of fluid network design (DHW, steam, and thermal fluid).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (isometric, mechanical, and electrical schematics).
• Proficiency in CAD tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Develop commercial activities, including prospecting, identifying opportunities, and acquiring new clients;
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing the deal;
• Take responsibility for the implementation and follow‑up of awarded projects nationwide;
• Execute the commercial and sales strategy for equipment and turnkey solutions in steam, thermal fluid, hot water, and hot air systems for industrial processes;
• Participate in technical sizing and project budgeting;
• Coordinate technical teams and subcontractors on‑site with a hands‑on approach;
• Act as the main liaison between the company and the client, ensuring effective communication;
• Oversee all project phases, from design through execution to final delivery;
• Ensure compliance with deadlines, costs, quality standards, and safety requirements;
• Guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction.
