A Wärtsilä Corporation em Portugal procura um(a) Service Engineer Mechatronic para integrar a equipa de Serviços Mediterrânea. Local de trabalho preferencial Esposende, com possibilidade de deslocações nacionais e internacionais.

Procuram-se candidatos com formação em Engenharia Elétrica, Automação ou equivalente, capacidade de resolução de falhas, bom inglês e aptidão para trabalhar de forma autónoma em campo, on-site e remotamente quando necessário.

Qualificações

• Formação em Engenharia Elétrica, Automação ou área equivalente.
• Experiência com sistemas de automação industrial e PLCs.
• Fortes capacidades de resolução de problemas em ambientes elétricos/controles.
• Boa capacidade de comunicação em inglês e trabalho em campo.

Responsabilidades

• Executar manutenção, resolução de avarias e reparos em sistemas elétricos e de automação.
• Dar suporte aos clientes no local e remotamente em Portugal e internationalmente.
• Realizar comissionamento, testes e ajustes de sistemas.
• Diagnosticar falhas e identificar causas raízes em sistemas E&A complexos.
• Preparar relatórios técnicos detalhados e verificar conformidade com normas de segurança.
• Colaborar com equipas internas e apoiar a comunicação com o cliente no local.

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Service Engineer Mechatronic

to join our Mediterranean Services team.

The preferred location for the position is in

Esposende (Portugal), but also considering from North & Central of Portugal.

The successful applicants must be authorized to work in Portugal without sponsorship.

Your role and responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and automation systems
• Support customers on-site and remotely across Portugal and internationally
• Carry out commissioning, testing, and system adjustments
• Diagnose faults and identify root causes in complex E&A systems
• Prepare detailed service and technical reportsEnsure work is performed in line with Wärtsilä safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with internal teams and support customer communication on-site

What you bring

• Background in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or similar
• Experience with industrial automation systems and PLCs
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and control systems
• Good knowledge of networks, drives, and automation components
• Ability to work independently in field environments
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to have

• Experience in marine or power plant environments
• Knowledge of diesel and gas engines
• Experience with commissioning activities
