Wärtsilä in Portugal seeks a proactive Service Engineer Mechatronic to join our Mediterranean Services team in Esposende. You will troubleshoot, maintain and repair electrical and automation systems on-site and remotely, supporting customers across Portugal and internationally.

The ideal candidate has a background in Electrical Engineering or Automation, strong PLC knowledge, and the ability to work independently in field environments while communicating effectively in English.

Qualificações

Must have hands-on troubleshooting skills in electrical and automation systems.
Able to perform maintenance, diagnostics and on-site field service.
Strong communication in English and ability to work independently in field environments.

Responsabilidades

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and automation systems.
Support customers on-site and remotely across Portugal and internationally.
Carry out commissioning, testing, and system adjustments.
Diagnose faults and identify root causes in complex E&A systems.
Prepare detailed service and technical reports in line with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and support customer communication on-site.
