BASEYARD in Braga, Portugal, seeks a Technical Procurement Specialist to source components for NPI and production, reading drawings, BOMs, and specs to translate into supplier requirements. On-site role collaborating with Engineering, NPI, and Quality.

You will develop supplier relationships, manage RFQs, negotiate terms, and drive cost, lead time, and quality improvements in a fast-growing defence-focused environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or another relevant technical field.
• Experience in technical procurement, strategic sourcing, engineering procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or a similar role.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, BOMs, technical specifications, and component datasheets.

Responsabilidades

• Source technical components, materials, equipment, tooling, and manufacturing services for NPI and serial production.
• Review BOMs, drawings, specifications, datasheets, and technical requirements to understand procurement needs.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for mechanical, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components.
