Job summary

MailerLite seeks a Technical Lead to guide the Audience Growth team. You will shape technical direction, own the landing page and website builders, signup forms, and subscriber flows while collaborating with product and design partners to deliver high-impact features.

You’ll lead engineers, set coding standards, and mentor others. This remote-first, international team operates across time zones with emphasis on ownership and reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production web applications with PHP and Laravel
• Experience leading engineers technically as a tech lead or senior engineer with lead duties
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with third-party APIs and OAuth
• Strong relational database skills (PostgreSQL preferred) and experience with background jobs and queues
• A product mindset: comfortable joining customer research, challenging requirements and measuring results after launch
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Based in the EMEA region

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers
• Work with the product manager and designer from discovery through delivery
• Own our landing page and website builders, signup forms, subscriber imports, preference centres and opt-in flows
• Build and maintain integrations that bring subscribers in from other platforms
• Keep forms, imports and opt-in flows fast, reliable and resistant to abuse
• Own your team's areas end to end in production: quality, performance, monitoring and fixing things when they break
• Set the bar through code review, pairing and mentoring, and help engineers grow into more ownership
