Decskill, an Astek Group company, is seeking a Senior IT Solution Analyst for a Lisbon project. You will analyze business requirements, define architecture, and coordinate with international teams across Product, Development, Testing, and Operations.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in solution lifecycle management, strong requirements engineering, and experience with Agile (Scrum/SAFe). Fluency in English is mandatory, and the role offers long-term opportunities within a diverse, people-first

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in solution lifecycle management, application management, and end-to-end solution delivery.
• Strong background in Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis.
• Experience managing stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementation partners.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, technical specifications, impact analysis, and solution design.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe.
• Knowledge of software testing, QA, and technical acceptance practices.
• Understanding of IT operations, service management, and SDLC.
• Basic knowledge of software development technologies, databases, web technologies, and modern enterprise systems.
• Ability to perform MySQL queries.

We would like to meet an Senior IT Solution Analyst for a project in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and refine business requirements in collaboration with Product Owners and business stakeholders.
• Assess business and UX requirements from a technical perspective, evaluating feasibility, potential impacts, and implementation efforts.
• Define solution requirements, acceptance criteria, and sustainable technical approaches.
• Coordinate solution implementation activities with development teams, implementation partners, and technical stakeholders.
• Define and document solution architecture concepts, system interfaces, and technical specifications.
• Establish technical acceptance criteria and validate implemented solutions against business and technical requirements.
• Support testing activities, ensuring solution quality and alignment with defined requirements.
• Coordinate deployments, technical handovers, and production readiness activities.
• Manage, monitor, and continuously improve solutions throughout their lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards, security policies, legal requirements, and governance frameworks.
• Support incident management, operational improvements, and service continuity activities.
• Act as the technical counterpart to the Product Owner, ensuring alignment between Business, Development, Testing, and Operations.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure effective communication across international teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• More than 7 years of experience in solution lifecycle management, application management, and end-to-end solution delivery.
• Strong background in Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis.
• Proven experience managing stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementation partners.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, technical specifications, impact analysis, and solution design.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe.
• Good knowledge of software testing, quality assurance, and technical acceptance practices.
• Understanding of IT operations, service management, and the software delivery lifecycle.
• Basic knowledge of software development technologies, databases, web technologies, and modern enterprise systems.
• Ability to perform database queries using MySQL.
• Basic knowledge of Apache Kafka, Chrome DevTools, and technical API definitions.
• Experience with solution enhancements, operational support, and continuous improvement activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural environments.
• Fluent in English (C1+ – mandatory, both spoken and written).
