Deel is looking for a Tech Lead in Application Support to join our Lisbon team. The role focuses on Linux environments, production support, and IT infrastructure, driving stability and performance for critical applications in a hybrid, Lisbon-based setting.

You will lead L3 incident response, collaborate with development, infra, DB and network teams, and drive deployments, automation and improvements using Shell and Python. English required.

Qualificações

• 6+ years in Linux environments and application/production support.
• Experience leading technical teams or projects.
• Strong incident management and 24/7 production support.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership in Application Support and Production Support activities.
• Ensure L3 support, investigating and resolving complex incidents and production issues.
• Guarantee stability, availability and performance of critical apps in 24/7 environments.
• Coordinate activities with development, infra, DB and network teams.
• Lead technical projects, migrations and application improvements.
• Manage deployments, releases and production changes.
• Develop and improve automation with Shell and Python.
• Work with Linux environments, WebSphere and JBoss.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and incident prevention processes.
• Participate in technical architecture design for security, scalability and resilience.
• Support DRP, backup procedures and business continuity.
• Ensure ITIL processes and SLA compliance; participate in on-call rotation.
