Job summary

Shakers is hiring a Developer / Tech Lead to drive the automation agenda of the network security team within a leading European technology group. Despite the title, this is primarily a software development role.

You will build advanced integrations against APIs of network and security appliances, develop automation solutions on a Python and Django stack, and define testing methodologies and coding standards. The position is full-time with hybrid work, 2–3 days on site in Porto or Lisbon.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of software development experience.
• Strong Python development with Django experience.
• Experience integrating complex APIs.
• Solid networking and security fundamentals.
• Commitment to code quality, automated testing and CI.
• Professional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team's development and automation initiatives from a technical standpoint.
• Build advanced integrations against APIs of network and security appliances.
• Develop automation solutions and internal portals on Python/Django stack.
• Define structured testing methodologies and coding guidelines.
• Push the operational baseline toward automation.
