Elastic is seeking a technical lead for the Agent Framework team to own architecture and guide the agent layer to support the Streams model. You will be the primary decision-maker for evolution of the agent stack, collaborating with the Streams program and Elastic Agent ecosystem.

You will lead architectural discussions, review code, and mentor teams while driving high standards of quality and delivery across distributed deployments.

Qualificações

• Lead tech role on agent/framework-scale software with distributed deployments.
• Deep knowledge of observability data collection: metrics, logs, traces, and OTLP.
• Strong Go background (Elastic Agent and Beats).
• Experience designing management and control planes for distributed software, particularly protocol-driven approaches like OpAMP.
• Proven ability to lead multi-team technical initiatives from design space to shipped software.
• Ability to switch between different projects and codebases as priorities change.
• Excellent at writing design docs and ADRs that others trust and reference.

Responsabilidades

• Design a scalable architecture for the agent layer and evaluate new technologies to boost performance.
• Provide technical guidance and code reviews while promoting engineering best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders and collaborate with product management to prioritize features.
• Coordinate cross-team efforts, identify risks, and adjust plans to stay aligned with priorities.
