Job summary

Siemens AG in Portugal (Lisboa/Amadora) is seeking an Associate (m/f/d) for Technology and Financial Audit with a focus on Safety. The role requires 3–5 years in auditing and strong EHS knowledge, ideally ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor credentials, and flexibility for international travel.

You will plan and execute audit programs, deliver practical recommendations, and share best practices across Siemens’ global teams.

Qualifications

3–5 years of professional experience within Siemens, or a technology company, or a respected assurance and consulting firm.
Experience in risk-based auditing and reporting, with ability to assess operational controls and identify improvements.
Strong knowledge of EHS practices and systems in an international organization.
Excellent communication skills to summarize technical audit results for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepare, plan and execute the defined audit program with EHS focus including management system evaluation and risk management.
Identify risks, evaluate controls, and deliver actionable recommendations for process and organizational improvements.
Develop clear reports and improvement plans and share findings with key stakeholders.
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and stakeholder engagement across diverse contexts.
Contribute to audit methodology and tools to enhance audit quality and impact.
Participate in audit steps in coordination with the Engagement Manager.
Build trusted relationships with auditees and Siemens businesses.
Assist in client interviews to extract crucial information.
Support closing meetings with management and draw conclusions with the audit team.
