Decskill is seeking a T-SQL Software Developer to join our team in Portugal. You will analyze requirements, develop and maintain code, and optimize T-SQL in Sybase environments while adhering to best practices.

You will build CI/CD pipelines, work with Linux shell scripting, Python, SAP Business Objects, and collaborate across banking/finance contexts with a focus on quality and documentation.

Responsabilities:

• Analyze functional and technical requirements for new implementations and enhancements.
• Develop new code and maintain existing applications following defined development best practices.
• Create, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries and Stored Procedures in Sybase.
• Analyze legacy implementations, identify improvement opportunities, and implement new solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform development testing and ensure compliance with defined quality standards.

• Stored Procedures development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Linux Shell Scripting.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with SAP Business Objects.
• Ability to analyze and enhance legacy systems.
• Understanding of software development best practices, testing processes, and technical documentation.
• Experience in requirements analysis.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to work with critical systems in financial environments.
• Strong technical and functional documentation skills.
• Autonomous Analyst/Developer with strong technical ownership.
• Ability to investigate and solve complex technical issues.
• Quality-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience working in structured corporate environments, preferably within the banking or finance.
• Good level of english.
