EID, a leading high-tech Portuguese defence contractor, is seeking a System Engineer to join its team. You will analyze customer needs, translate them into system requirements, and support the design of integrated software and hardware solutions.

The role requires a university degree in Electronic Engineering or related field, experience with virtualization, networks, CCNA, and strong Portuguese and English communication.

Qualificações

• A university degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Experience producing clear technical documentation at high and low levels.
• Experience in virtualized environments and hyperconverged infrastructures.
• Network certifications such as CCNA or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Solid understanding of radio and digital communication systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex issues.
• Advanced knowledge of routing and switching, including related protocols.
• Strong Portuguese and English communication (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Analyze customer needs and translate them into clear, structured system requirements.
• Evaluate how existing systems can support new and evolving requirements.
• Troubleshoot across software, hardware, and integrated systems.
• Contribute to design and documentation of system architectures.
• Support implementation and optimization of communication and network infrastructures.
