Job summary

Addvolt is seeking a skilled Architecture & System Requirements Engineer to join the Systems & Application Engineering team in Porto. You will define system architectures, capture and manage requirements, and ensure alignment between customer needs, business objectives and technical implementation for Addvolt electrification solutions.

Qualifications

• Masters-level degree and related field experience in systems engineering
• Experience capturing and managing stakeholder/system requirements
• Ability to decompose and specify interfaces and architectures
• Proven traceability across requirements, design and validation

Responsibilities

• Capture and manage stakeholder and system requirements for new products and platforms.
• Develop and maintain high-level system architectures and interfaces across multidisciplinary teams.
• Translate customer, regulatory and safety needs into verifiable technical requirements.
• Maintain bidirectional traceability between needs, requirements and validation activities.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Electrical, Mechanical and Software teams to ensure consistency.
• Define system interfaces and support cross-domain integration planning.
• Lead or support system architecture reviews and trade-off studies.
• Identify risks, assumptions, and dependencies and support mitigation.
• Support verification and validation planning with acceptance criteria and coverage.
• Create and maintain system engineering documentation within change-management processes.
