System Engineer – PAS/PIS

Decskill, an IT consulting firm with more than 10 years of consolidated experience, is looking for a System Engineer – PAS/PIS for a Lisbon project with a hybrid model (3x in the office per week).

You will define system specifications, integrate components, verify readiness, and coordinate subsystem development. Fluent Portuguese/English; French a bonus. Degree in Telecommunications/Electrical/Electronics Eng and 2–3 years' experience expected.

Qualificações

• University degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• At least 2/3 years of experience.
• Experience in CAD Design.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and create 3D models.
• Proven experience in Telecommunications Design is an advantage.
• Experience in Passenger Information System (PIS) Design is an advantage.
• Experience with Public Address Systems (PAS), particularly PAS Design, is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in developing and implementing customer-focused solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Portuguese and English communication skills are required; French is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Define and formalise system specifications and engineering plans for the development of the solution.
• Integrate and evaluate system components to assess design, behaviour, interactions and performance, ensuring compliance with defined requirements.
• Verify and demonstrate that the solution meets approved operational needs and is ready for production, testing, installation and operation.
• Plan and coordinate subsystem development within the agreed architecture and design constraints.
• Act as the technical interface across the project and ensure that subsystem interfaces are defined, consistent and complete.
• Optimise technical activities considering cost, schedule and project risks throughout the design, validation and acceptance phases.
• Manage technical requirements within the assigned domain.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system requirements, design and configuration documents, installation manuals, test procedures, O&M documentation and training materials.
• Provide technical expertise during design reviews with internal teams and customers.
• Support the definition of Operations and Maintenance activities.
• Perform Testing and Commissioning (T&C) activities, including FAT, field testing and onsite commissioning.
• Support configuration control and management activities.
• Prepare training documentation and deliver training within the assigned technical domain.
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement.

We would like to meet a System Engineer – PAS/PIS for a project with a hybrid working model in Lisbon, Portugal (3x/week at the office).
