The ideal candidate has extensive Linux/Windows experience, scripting skills, and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, XLDeploy, and Git, plus monitoring with Elastic Stack.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, application support, or similar roles.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Application Support or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with job schedulers (Control-M or similar).
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Provide production support, managing and resolving incidents efficiently.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure to ensure performance, stability, and SLA compliance.
• Coordinate changes and technical operations (deployments, maintenance, disaster recovery).
• Collaborate with development, system, database, and network teams.
• Maintain and update technical documentation (architecture, procedures, monitoring needs).
• Manage backups and perform regular restore tests.
• Control application performance and capacity.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of support processes.
• Work closely with development teams on application architecture and improvements.

We would like to meet a Senior Application Support / Devops | Linux for a project with a hybrid working model in Porto.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, application support, or similar roles.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Application Support or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with job schedulers (Control-M or similar).
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging solutions (e.g., Elastic Stack).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of LDAP, Active Directory, Firewalls, Reverse Proxy, Kerberos.
• Experience with CI/CD and tools such as Jenkins, XLDeploy, and Git is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment
• Problem-solving and incident management mindset
