Job summary

Sodecia in Porto seeks an ESG Specialist to drive sustainability reporting and decarbonization across global operations. You will coordinate CDP and EcoVadis submissions, monitor data quality, and support policy implementation across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Corporate Functions.

The candidate will contribute to carbon reduction roadmaps, collaborate with multiple teams to embed sustainability into products and processes, and assist with audits and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related.
• 1–3 years of experience in Sustainability, ESG, Environment, or related area.
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks, environmental reporting, and sustainability metrics.

Responsibilities

Sodecia is looking for a Sustainability & ESG Specialist to support the execution of our global sustainability strategy and help accelerate our environmental and decarbonization journey across all Business Units.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of ESG reporting, carbon management, operational excellence, and sustainable manufacturing, collaborating with teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Corporate Functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage ESG reporting activities, including CDP and EcoVadis submissions
• Monitor sustainability performance and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and traceability of environmental data
• Support the implementation of sustainability policies, procedures, and management systems across global operations
• Contribute to the development and execution of decarbonization roadmaps and carbon reduction initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into products, processes, and operations
• Support environmental audits, certifications, and compliance activities

Profile

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in Sustainability, ESG, Environment, or a related area
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks, environmental reporting, and sustainability metrics
• Understanding of ISO 14001, GHG Protocol, carbon accounting, and environmental performance indicators
• Familiarity with CDP, EcoVadis, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and Product Carbon Footprint methodologies is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving
• Fluent in English
• Availability for national and international travel
