Job summary

Siemens AG in Lisbon area is offering a 12-month paid internship within Supply Chain Management Indirect Material. You will support daily activities, analyze purchasing data with Excel/macros and SAP, and collaborate with buyers on sourcing, contracting, and supplier development.

The role emphasizes automation with Power Automate, Forms, SharePoint, and Power BI. Ideal candidates work well in international teams, show initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, and are eager to generate new ideas.

Qualifications

• International environment and entrepreneurial mindset.

• Interest in digitalization and process automation tools (Office 365).
• Data analysis experience and purchasing process familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall support to the Supply Chain Management Indirect Material Team in daily activities.
• Assist data analysis of purchasing activities and decision-making using Excel macros, dashboards, and SAP.
• Collaborate with the division's buyers across sourcing, contracting, evaluation and supplier development.
• Help automate purchasing processes using Office 365 tools: Power Automate, Forms, SharePoint, Power BI.
• Review supplier qualification and segmentation status and assist related tasks.
• Support the travel management function.
• Collaborate on new projects as they arise.

Your mission will be…

• Overall support of the Supply Chain Management Indirect Material Team on daily activities:
• Support the data analysis of activities related to the purchasing function and it’s decision-making as well as data of the different purchasing commodities (through handling of dynamic tables, Excel macros, Dashboards, SAP, etc.)
• Collaborate with the Siemens’s division's buyers, in the different purchasing processes: sourcing (search for suppliers, offers and negotiations), contracting (document preparation, signature process and digital files validation), evaluation and development of suppliers.
• Collaborate in the automation of purchasing processes through Office 365 tools: Power Automate, Forms, Sharepoint, Power BI;
• Review of the qualification and segmentation status of suppliers and support in the execution of relevant tasks related to the processes;
• Support the travel management function;
• Collaboration on new projects that may arise.
