Carhartt WIP is opening a new store in Porto in October 2026. We are seeking a capable Retail Supervisor to lead the team, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold visual merchandising standards.

You will handle opening/closing duties and cash processes while aligning with company policies and collaborating across departments. The successful candidate will have retail experience, team leadership skills, and a strong understanding of customer expectations.

Qualificações

• Experience in retail or service industries is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven selling skills and confidence in customer interactions.
• Strong understanding of customer expectations and needs.
• Fluency in Portuguese; English is advantageous for international customers.
• Ability to manage store presentation and operations to company standards.

Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business group started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it develops its own collections based on workwear originals.

For our new store in Porto, opening in October 2026, we are looking for you as

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise the team to achieve highest possible levels of customer service and performance
• Ensure that the team is dealing with all customer queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure that customer service standards are adhered to and business opportunities are maximised.
• Awareness and supervision of the store presentation, including cleanliness, visual display and merchandising
• Responsibility for holding keys to the store, opening and closing the store, completing relevant checklists and cash handling
• Supervise the team to ensure adherence within the store of all company policies and procedures Maintain open communication within the store and across to other departments

Your Profile

• Retail or service industry experience
• Ability to work within a team
• Proven selling skills
• Confidence
• Understanding of our customer base and their expectations
• Fluent in Portuguese, English is advantageous
