Job summary

Focus on SAP is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay Lead Consultant to own a critical implementation stream. The role requires hands-on design, configuration, testing and deployment, taking over from an existing consultant with strong functional leadership and delivery ownership.

Work remotely from an EU-based location for an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

• Proven track record implementing SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay from scratch.
• Experience leading functional workstreams and delivery on SF projects.
• Strong hands-on configuration and testing capabilities in SF Compensation & Variable Pay.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and drive delivery with minimal onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP SF Compensation & Variable Pay implementation.
• Own functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Lead workshops, discuss solutions and report progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources to meet milestones and ensure continuity of delivery.

Role – We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Compensation & Variable Pay Consultant / Lead to take ownership of a critical implementation workstream at short notice.
This senior, hands‑on role requires extensive experience implementing SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay from scratch, including solution design, configuration, testing and deployment.
You will take over from an existing consultant, manage the handover and provide both functional leadership and project delivery ownership, ensuring the implementation progresses successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Compensation & Variable Pay Implementation

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay.
  • Own functional solution design, hands‑on configuration, testing and deployment activities.
  • Translate business requirements into effective compensation and variable pay solutions.
  • Identify and resolve configuration issues, delivery risks and outstanding implementation activities.

• Functional Leadership & Delivery

  • Take ownership of the existing workstream, ensuring an effective handover and continuity of delivery.
  • Act as the Functional Lead, managing priorities, deliverables, risks and dependencies.
  • Lead stakeholder workshops, solution discussions and progress reporting.
  • Coordinate functional and technical resources to drive implementation milestones.

Key Skills

• Proven experience implementing SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay from scratch.
• Strong hands‑on configuration expertise across SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay.
• Experience acting as a Functional Lead, Workstream Lead or Project Manager on SAP SuccessFactors implementations.
• Ability to take over an ongoing implementation, assess delivery status and drive the workstream forward.
• Strong experience across requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing and deployment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and delivery ownership skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver effectively with minimal onboarding.
