Job summary

JPM Industry in Vale de Cambra is seeking a procurement specialist to coordinate purchasing with Engineering and Production, identify suppliers, and negotiate favorable prices, delivery times, and terms.

You will issue and follow up purchase orders, mitigate supply risks, monitor supplier performance, and collaborate with different areas of the company to ensure material availability and cost efficiency. This full-time, on-site role offers continuous training and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 12th grade, CET (Technological Specialisation Course), or higher education qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience (mandatory).
• English language proficiency.
• Knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyse purchasing needs and technical specifications in coordination with the Engineering and Production teams.
• Identify, contact, and select suitable suppliers according to the organisation’s needs.
• Negotiate prices, delivery times, and commercial terms, ensuring the best cost-benefit ratio.
• Ensure the issuing and follow-up of purchase orders until receipt.
• Anticipate and mitigate supply risks that may compromise project execution or production continuity.
• Ensure the operational follow-up of suppliers, maintaining effective communication and an appropriate response to JPM’s needs.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, promoting improvement actions whenever necessary.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at cost optimisation, service level improvement, and purchasing process efficiency.
• Collaborate with different areas of the company to resolve issues related to the supply of materials and services.
