Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a multinational client to hire a Payroll Operations Lead for the Americas. The role oversees payroll across the United States and LATAM, leading transformation, ensuring compliance, scalability, and flawless delivery.

Based in Portugal with a flexible hybrid model, you will work with senior stakeholders, drive process improvements, and develop a high-performing payroll team across regions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end payroll operations in multinational environments.
• Strong experience supporting US and LATAM payroll operations.
• Demonstrated leadership of payroll teams and international stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of payroll governance, compliance, labor regulations, and taxation.
• Experience leading payroll transformation, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory; Spanish is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations across US and LATAM regions.
• Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery through internal teams and vendors.
• Act as main contact for payroll-related matters across the region.
• Drive payroll transformation, process optimization, automation, and standardization.
• Develop scalable payroll processes to support business growth.
• Monitor operations via KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and providers to ensure compliance.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with local labor, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage payroll-related risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Lead, coach, and develop payroll professionals.
