Coloplast in Portugal seeks an experienced Indirect Material Buyer to manage sourcing, negotiate terms, and process purchase orders while ensuring delivery and compliance. The role is 85% operational and 15% tactical, with focus on cost reductions and supplier performance.

The position requires 7–10 years in materials and supply chain, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and certifications such as CIPS or CPSM. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in materials, logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in materials, supply chain management and manufacturing.
• Purchasing MROs and other indirect materials and services is mandatory.
• Certifications: CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent area plus.

Responsabilidades

• Sourcing new suppliers and indirect materials and services in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Support Global Procurement on supplier onboarding and master data creation.
• Responsible for supplier agreement negotiations for site-specific suppliers.
• Lead sourcing analysis and drive tenders when needed; develop supplier relationships.
• Address supplier delivery or quality issues and provide feedback to Procurement.
• Obtain quotations and create purchase orders; monitor on-time delivery and PO discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory levels for indirect materials and address needs to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with Coloplast policies and local regulations.
