Job summary

Tlg Global, Gmbh. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to own and deliver complex projects in Portugal from a client-side perspective.

The role focuses on technical project management, rigorous financial control and supporting procurement. You will manage budgets, BOQs, tenders and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, within budget and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong construction background with solid commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience in budget management, auditing BOQs, cost control, and subcontractor tendering.
• Provide active technical support in procurement and contract negotiation.
• Proven track record managing projects of similar scale with full ownership of delivery, deadlines, and financial performance.
• Seeking candidates with strong commercial, financial, and technical project control expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from planning through completion.
• Prepare, review and control project budgets and cost plans.
• Prepare and review BOQs and quantity take-offs.
• Monitor actual project costs against budgets and identify variances.
• Prepare subcontractor packages and manage tendering.
• Review and compare subcontractor quotations technically and commercially.
• Negotiate subcontractor pricing and recommend appointments.
• Coordinate with procurement to source materials with technical input.
• Review supplier quotations and help procurement find best options.
• Manage schedules, costs, variations and documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, architects and clients.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Provide regular reporting to management on project progress, budget, risks and forecast costs.
