Description du poste

A Snapshot of Your Day

This role puts you at the financial center of the carve-out. On 25 August 2026 Siemens Energy announced preparations for the legal and operational separation of Transformation of Industry into a standalone company, a fast-growing business with around 17,000 employees, €6 billion of revenue and a double-digit profit margin. A separation of this scale needs one integrated financial view of what it costs — and you are the person who creates it, working directly with the Carve-out Program Lead and the individual carve-out workstreams.

Your day starts with a review of the latest carve-out cost forecast. One workstream has revised its implementation plan, another needs a decision on cost allocation, and the program lead needs a consolidated financial view for the next steering meeting. You bring the information together, challenge assumptions and translate developments into a clear management perspective. Later, you work with Finance, IT, HR, Legal and other workstreams to clarify financial impacts and prepare recommendations. Priorities can shift quickly and not every structure is defined yet; your contribution is transparency, financial discipline and well-founded decisions.

This is a rare moment to join. A new company is being built, and with it a new Finance organization: the central Business Controlling team of Transformation of Industry is developing into the Corporate FP&A department of that company, an organization of more than 100 finance professionals. The role also has a clear next step built in: once the carve‑out is completed, you move into TI Performance or Function Controlling and apply everything you have learned about the business to its ongoing performance steering.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Act as the central finance business partner for the Carve-out Program Lead and workstreams, providing financial guidance for separation and standalone‑readiness decisions through business cases, scenario analyses and financial assessments
  • Establish an integrated view of carve‑out costs, including commitments, actuals, budgets and forecasts, and coordinate planning, steering and reporting across workstreams, entities and functions
  • Challenge cost assumptions, identify deviations and risks early, and drive corrective actions to ensure effective financial steering
  • Develop transparent charging and allocation concepts for carve‑out costs in collaboration with Accounting, Tax, Legal and relevant Finance teams
  • Prepare concise management reports and decision papers for program leadership, Finance leadership and governance bodies, ensuring consistent definitions, controls and audit trails while leveraging digital solutions to reduce manual effort and improve data quality
  • Transition into TI Performance or Function Controlling after the carve‑out, bringing business knowledge into ongoing performance steering
What You Bring
  • A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Longstanding experience in controlling, FP&A, finance business partnering, project controlling or transformation finance; experience with carve‑outs, separations or large transformation programs is a plus
  • A strong command of budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling, management reporting and variance analysis, with the ability to structure ambiguous topics, connect multiple data sources and turn financial information into practical recommendations
  • A hands‑on mindset and the resilience to deliver under high workload, changing priorities and incomplete information
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the confidence to challenge constructively across functions and seniority levels, combined with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SAP, Power BI, SAC or comparable tools is a plus
  • Fluent English; additional languages are an asset but not required
