WE ARE META is hiring a Staff Software Engineer (Java & Kotlin) to join our Rhino team, supporting remote work from Portugal. You will work across Java/Kotlin projects, focusing on scalable backend services and modern cloud infrastructure.

The role requires deep experience in testing, CI/CD, and identity/authentication technologies, plus mentoring junior engineers and strong English communication. Based in Portugal, EU citizens or valid permits are welcome.

Qualificações

• ;At least 10 years of professional experience in software development with Java and Kotlin.
• ;Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD
• ;Experience with GIT and CI/CD
• ;Familiarity with Micronaut or similar frameworks like Spring Boot
• ;Experience working in Identity teams (authentication, authorization, SSO/OAuth).
• ;Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes and Azure Cloud
• ;Previous experience using GraphQL Federation and Kafka
• ;Previous experience with coaching or mentoring junior engineer
• ;Fluency in English is mandatory (B2 Level)
