We Are META is searching for a Staff Java Backend Developer (with Kotlin) with at least 10 years of professional experience in software development. Responsibilities include working with Java, Kotlin, and various frameworks, with a focus on unit and integration testing. The role offers remote work opportunities and a variety of perks, including health insurance and opportunities for career progression. Candidates must be fluent in English and have experience in mentoring junior engineers.

Qualificações

• At least 10 years of professional experience in software development with Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD.
• Experience with GIT and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Micronaut or similar frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Experience working in Identity teams (authentication, authorization, SSO/OAuth).
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes and Azure Cloud.
• Previous experience using GraphQL Federation and Kafka.
• Previous experience with coaching or mentoring junior engineers.
• Fluency in English is mandatory (B2).
• Available for a remote work model based in Portugal.
