n8n is seeking a Staff Architect to shape and evolve the core platform architecture powering our open workflow orchestration platform. You will drive coherence across execution, infrastructure, data, and frontend platform systems and guide multiple teams toward durable, scalable solutions.

You’ll mentor engineers, lead RFCs and design reviews, and partner with platform workstreams to reduce coupling while enabling safe migrations.

Qualificações

• Must-have track record of staff-level architecture ownership across multiple systems or teams.
• Deep understanding of invariants, failure modes, state machines, queues, consistency and resilience.

Responsabilidades

• Drive architecture across Core Platform teams to ensure coherent evolution of execution, infrastructure, data and frontend platform systems.
• Design highly adaptable backend foundations to support various workloads and deployment models.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, RFCs and technical guidance to raise the bar on architecture and maintainability.
