Pharmbills LLC in Portugal seeks a detail-oriented accounting student or graduate to maintain accurate monthly books for clients and ensure deadlines are met.

You will post and review monthly revenue, reconcile accounts, and produce timely reports for management and clients, while collaborating with internal teams and supporting audits and budget processes.

Training is provided, and there is room to grow in a collaborative, professional finance team.

Qualificações

  • Understanding GAAP-compliant accounting processes.
  • Basic accounting knowledge with willingness to expand.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new systems and policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Maintain accurate records of facility financial activity and post monthly revenue.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and review monthly P&Ls.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and inform management.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports for management and clients.
  • Assist budget development with senior supervisor and review final budget.
  • Support audits and tax filings; assist with external reviews.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Maintaining financial activity - Maintaining accurate records of facility financial activity, posting and reviewing monthly revenue, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Month-end closures - Completing monthly close and quality checklists, reviewing monthly P&Ls, and collaborating with other finance operations teams.
  • Stakeholder communication - Collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues, proactively informing management of concerns or barriers to meeting timelines, and preparing accurate and timely reports for management and clients.
  • Budget development - Working together with a senior/supervisor on the client's projected annual revenue, expense, and staffing budget, and reviewing the final budget to confirm with management.
  • Audit & organizational support - Participating in training new employees, recommending new processes to your supervisor to assist workflow, compiling data for external audits, reviews, and tax filings, and reviewing bank BBCs.
What You Bring:
  • A BS in accounting or current enrollment pursuing a BS in accounting.
  • An understanding of accounting processes to ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Basic accounting knowledge with a readiness to expand on that knowledge.
  • The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and operate independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn new systems and policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
