Körber Pharma Packaging AG is looking for a technical lead engineer in Portugal for SW Engineering and commissioning of international projects in sorting and conveyor technology. You will lead an international team and implement customer-specific software solutions, ensuring compliance with project standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in automation technology or computer science, has extensive SW development experience, and possesses strong leadership skills. The position offers a mixed work environment with both home office and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• In this position, you will be responsible for SPS SW Engineering and the commissioning of our international projects for our sorters and conveyor technology as a technical lead engineer
• You act in the projects as SW & Commissioning Lead Engineer and lead an international team
• For customer‑specific SW functions, you create the SW concepts and monitor the implementation in the customer project based on our SW library and tools
• You support the projects with your expertise in SW project planning and ensure compliance with the tools and processes of our international project teams
• You will actively participate in the further development of our SW library
• You will implement the implementation of the software engineering within the planned cost, quality and schedule framework and support the offer manager during the calculation

Your profile

• You have successfully completed a master’s degree in automation technology/computer science or a comparable field
• You have many years of experience in SW development and concepts for logistics warehouse and sorting systems, alternatively in industrial automation
• You have expert knowledge in SW development and SW architecture in the field of SIMATIC TIA, Failsafe and WIN-CC
• You are also practiced in common bus systems such as Ethernet & Profinet and have experience with failsafe application
• You have expert experience in commissioning and have already led a team On Site as team lead
• We require very good English skills as well as intercultural competence and the ability to work in a team for this position German language skills are beneficial
• A willingness to international travel to our projects of about 30% is no problem for you
