SOLVERDE is seeking a Sportsbook manager to lead a dedicated team, optimizing betting performance and collaborating with CRM and Data Science to drive growth. You will oversee daily markets, price bets, manage risk, and implement advanced trading strategies, ensuring profitability and compliance.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in Sportsbook operations or risk management, with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in team leadership across pre-match and live markets.

The mission

As a Sportsbook manager, you will be responsable for managing a team, optimizing the sports betting perfomance, and working closely with th CRM and Data Science departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the Sportsbook team, ensuring the eAective execution of the definedstrategy.
• Monitor betting markets on a daily basis, identifying opportunities and managing potential risks.
• Manage real-time trading exposure and risk, ensuring sustainable margins and long-term profitability.
• Set and adjust betting odds dynamically across both pre-match and live markets, responding to market movements.
• Develop and implement advanced trading and risk management strategies.
• Work closely with the CRM and Data Science teams, providing insights to optimise customer acquisition and retention campaigns.
• Produce performance analysis and executive reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Sportsbook Operations, Sports Trading, or Risk Management.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, odds pricing, and sportsbook trading.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proven experience managing teams, including small teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Experience working with both pre-match and live betting markets.
• Ability to collaborate effeectively across departments, particularly with CRM, Data Science, and Product teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Portuguese sports betting market and familiarity with local regulations.
• Demonstrated success in improving sportsbook margins and profitability.
• In-depth knowledge of multiple sports, including football, tennis, basketball, and others.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Advanced Excel, BI tools).
• Previous experience working in regulated gaming markets.
