Caixa Mágica Software is seeking a Solutions Architect to join one of Portugal's largest energy companies, based in Lisbon. You will analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable reference architectures across SAP, GCP, Azure and AWS. The role demands strong communication, governance mindset, and collaboration in a global team.

English is mandatory; Portuguese and Spanish are a plus. A permanent contract with opportunities for growth and modern tech stack awaits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Software/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Up to 10 years of experience in the role for contracting.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Portuguese/Spanish helpful.
• Solid knowledge of architecture deliverables and governance.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse business requirements and align them with reference application architecture.
• Communicate security, application, and technology architecture standards.
• Create clear architecture deliverables and governance-compliant artefacts.

Overview

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join one of Portugal's largest energy companies and one of Europe's leading energy groups, headquartered in Lisbon. The client is a global electricity and gas company, operating across several countries in Europe, the Americas, and Asia, serving millions of customers and employing thousands of people.

What are we looking for?

• Up to 10 years of experience in the relevant role for the service to be contracted.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR (a plus).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence (a plus).
• Project experience (a plus).
• Language proficiency (written and spoken): English (mandatory), Portuguese (preferred), Spanish (preferred).
• Any architecture certification (e.g., Microsoft, Cloud, etc.).
• Ability to critically analyse business requirements and align them with the client's reference application architecture.
• Solid knowledge of different types of architecture deliverables and artefacts.
• Focus on clear architecture documentation and compliance with governance standards.
• Ability to clearly communicate established security, application, and technology architecture standards, and independently influence and drive their adoption.
• Experience with technology stacks such as SAP, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
• Knowledge of API Management, MuleSoft, SAP, and Salesforce is highly desirable.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies, such as Google Cloud Pub/Sub and/or Apache Kafka.
