Job summary

Decskill is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead architectural activities across global teams from Lisbon, Porto and Madrid. The role emphasizes architecture documentation, governance, and API design to deliver scalable solutions in a multinational context.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in software/solution architecture, strong English communication, and the ability to work across diverse teams while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Up to 10 years of experience in a relevant architecture role.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in global and multicultural teams.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to quality of deliverables.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.
• Any Architecture certification, such as Microsoft, Cloud, or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of different types of architecture deliverables.
• Experience with application architecture, logical architecture, and API design/specification.
• Strong focus on architecture documentation and governance.
• Fluency in English.
