HumanIT is seeking a Solution Architecture Lead to drive cloud-native, high-availability systems across a global logistics IT landscape. This senior role combines hands-on engineering with strategic architecture leadership and team mentorship.

You will guide architecture strategy, manage a team of solution architects, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals while embracing modern patterns and regulatory considerations. Hybrid Lisbon work arrangement applies.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of experience in Software or Solution Architecture.
• Proven leadership experience (team lead, chapter lead, technical lead, or architecture manager).
• Strong hands-on background in software engineering with modern programming languages.
• Solid experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• English level B2 (Upper Intermediate) or above, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Solution Architecture Lead to join a global leader in logistics and parcel delivery IT, supporting mission-critical systems that power operations across dozens of countries and thousands of locations worldwide. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who wants to shape architecture strategy while staying hands-on with high-availability, cloud-native distributed systems at massive scale.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You will build and lead a team of Solution Architects, working closely with Enterprise Architecture to translate long-term target architecture into pragmatic, adoptable guidance. You'll own the Solution Architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap across multiple engineering domains, driving end-to-end alignment across business capabilities. Key focus areas include managing technical debt, enforcing standards for high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity and risk management (including NIS2 compliance), and promoting modern patterns such as event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, and API-first development.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

Compensation: €2,700 – €3,100/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
