Job summary

Luza Group is seeking a Solution Architect focused on Azure Cloud and application integration to design scalable architectures and guide multi-disciplinary teams. The role requires deep experience in enterprise architecture, governance, and interoperability across enterprise systems.

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, lead architecture workshops, and ensure compliance with GDPR and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in Solution Architecture or similar.
• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud, SaaS and application integration architectures.
• Knowledge of EA principles, frameworks and capability modeling.
• Experience designing integration solutions that maximize reuse and interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Design and define scalable solution architectures focusing on Azure Cloud and SaaS applications.
• Lead architecture and integration initiatives, promoting reuse of services and processes.
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Act as architecture reference across project lifecycle and across delivery teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to explain, defend, and align architectural decisions.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and support executive-level discussions.

What You’ll do:

• Design and define scalable solution architectures with a strong focus on Azure Cloud and SaaS applications.
• Lead application architecture and integration initiatives, promoting the reuse of existing services, methods, and processes.
• Produce and maintain solution architecture documentation aligned with both business and technical requirements.
• Act as the architecture reference throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistency across delivery teams.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to explain, defend, and align architectural decisions.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and support executive-level discussions and presentations.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and GDPR requirements.
• Contribute to architecture governance by applying enterprise architecture frameworks and capability models.
• Support Agile delivery teams, working with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud, SaaS applications, and application integration architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles, frameworks, and capability modeling.
• Experience designing integration solutions that maximize reuse and interoperability across enterprise systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to executive audiences.
• Proven ability to independently facilitate workshops and drive architecture decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to high-quality deliverables.
• Experience working in Agile environments; familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR regulations is highly valued.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); Portuguese and/or Spanish are considered an advantage.
• Comfortable working in hybrid and global team environments.
